Baby Ninja

So, I'm 95% sure I felt him last night, for the first time. I was taking a bath and I felt two distinct movements, that felt like karate kicks to the spleen. But of course, then I got really still and waited to felt it again and I never did...... Jasper's messing with me. My little ninja. (:

It's a boy! - 21weeks

It was pretty amazing to see him, my little acrobat in an incubator. The Tech did let me know he was being subborn(flipping and moving, when she wanted him to stay still and staying still when she wanted him to move), hopefully not a sign of thing to come. There were a couple shots she showed us, of his spine and the four different cambers of his heart, that were amazing. Thomas was right, I still want to name him Jasper..... I do have my concerns about a boy, what with trucks and sports.....ewwww. And he really does look like a gerbil in the last picture....... but I still can't wait to meet him!

Not a single poke!

I had a baby doctor appoiontment yesterday and it was amazing. I was in no mood to go, seeing as at all previous appointment, all they did was take my blood and poke and prod at me....... But not yesterday! I didn't have to give blood, I didn't even have to take my pants off. I just had to listen to his cute little heart beat!!!!

Hoppy Easter.

I made some Easter eggs. I was pretty proud till I tried to eat one Sunday morning and it was still half liquid.... :( Thomas and I took his kids and Lindsay on an Egg hunt on Saturday at Kensington Metro Park. They all had fun for the 30 seconds it lasted. I've never seen a swarm of children like that in my life! Luckily Eric and Mom made it just in time to watch.
