Jasper Jude is finally here!

We went in on Monday (8/23/10) at 7am to be induced. 16 hours later, our big boy came into the world. He was born at 10:48pm, weighing in at 10 lbs 12.4 oz, and 22.5 inches long.






























I'm super amazed at how strong he is. He's been holding his head up since he came out!

A Sad Day.....

As our due date came and went.

As of today we have been sent to the hospital twice, just to be sent home...... I go to the doctors and they seem to be concerned about my swelling and high blood pressure and a few other things, so they send us on our way to have a baby..... But then we get to the hospital and sit around for a few hours and they say my blood pressure is fine and my blood work is fine and they send us home..... Today I was sent to be induced but they didn't have any beds. We are suppose to go back tomorrow at 5:30pm to try again. I really question these people responsible for the birth of my child..... I don't think they know what their doing.

37weeks 3days = A Beast

Thomas and I went for an ultrasound today. They wanted to check his size because of the supposive diabetes and according to the ultrasound tech, is is measuring in full term at 7lbs. 6oz. with three weeks to go..... ouch.













This is his ghost face, you have to use your imagination but there are eyes, a mouth, and a nose in there.













He's still a boy.



































These last two are the same, a profile, but I think it's cute, he looks like The Thinker with his little hand tucked up under his chin.
