2 Months Old

Jasper is growing up fast these days, literally. He had his two month check up (10/28/10) and is growing like a weed. He put on 19 oz. in a month, his new weight is 13lbs 4 oz. He also grew 2 inches, he's at 25 inches now. Still top of the charts in height and 70 percentile for weight.

I think he cried the most he ever had when he had to get his shots. He started to cry after the first one, then screamed after the second. But he survived.

He's cooing and "talking" a lot these days. And he has also discovered his spit, he like to produce bubbles.

And he's cute as ever.

Belle Isle

Jasper also had his first trip to Belle Isle, this weekend with Cousin Laura and Aunt Nan. We went to the Conservatory and to the Nature Zoo. He loved all the new sights he saw. When we were at the nature zoo, they had a tank with a snapping turtle in it and Jasper was so cute, following it back and forth. I adore him.

Jasper also tried out his highchair for the first time. It was cute, the novelty of a new thing/place only lasted a few minutes for Jasper though... :)

Spooktacular!

Jasper is all set for Halloween. He is going to be my hungry, hungry Caterpillar. I figured I'd post these seeing as we have already started Halloween festivities.

This past weekend we took the boys to Nankin's Mill. They had a free Halloween event, with candy and games and a hayride. The weekend before we went to Erwin's Cider Mill for Sean's 4th birthday party. The kids got candy, so they had fun. Oh, there was also a live owl, the highlight for me.

Back to the Grind

I'm in the last 10 minutes of my first week back to work. I can't complain to much, I have a job that I like and good people I work with. But it was hard, harder then I thought it'd be to leave Jasper everyday. Hopefully it will get easier.

He's getting super cute, smiling all the time now. It makes my heart melt!
