Pretty Lights... not the music.

We(Grammie, too!) went to the Detroit Tree Lighting this weekend.... it was... meh. There were a ton of people, but we did get to see Santa.  

 

Since I thought the Tree Lighting was a bit of a bust we went to the Hines Drives Lights afterwards.

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween, we did a couple streets and then went to a local church for an indoor, "Trunk or Treat" with Grammie and Thomas. There was a dog at the Trunk or Treat, that did MATH. It was pretty amazing. On the way home, Jasper and I stopped at the Fire Station, to Trick or Treat. He loved that the fire trucks in Dearborn Heights have Dragons on the them.

Jasper Jude is 2!!!!!!

 Avery and Roberta were in town for the party and Avery was so cute, when she was telling me about Jasper's gifts, I was glad to have that moment with her, she's a doll!

We had a wonderful Birthday weekend, Thursday, he got his very only dinosaur!, Friday Thomas, Nathen, Jasper, and I rode the Amtrak from Dearborn to Detroit, when to the DIA(Which is free now!!!), ate crepes and rode the train back home, it was great. Jasper loved being on the train! Then Saturday we had a birthday bash with close family and friends!

I though it was funny, when we arrived at the Dearborn train satation, the attendant, said we were going to a really bad area and shouldn't leave the station.... silly, scared man.

Summer.

We had a great one.

... put his shoe on all by himself. It's amazing how something so small can make me so proud and so sad at the same time! No more babies in this family, only big boys....and me.

Happy Hearts

This weekend Jasper, my mom, and I did the Leah's Happy Heart Walk at Mayberry State Park. Aunt Carol, Joan and her son met us. It was nice, it's been a while since I'd been to that park. Afterwards my Mom and I(Jasper, too, of course) when to a Geocaching Flash Mob, which turned out to be pretty cute!!!!!! Sunday, I took Jasper to the carnival with Jesse, Dexter, and Max. It was hot and over priced, but those smiles make it worth it. 

Detroit Zoo

Last weekend my Mom met Thomas, Nathen, Jasper, and I at the Zoo. We got to see the baby bears, baby camel, and baby peacocks!!!!!
